{"id":1295,"date":"2022-01-21T13:59:34","date_gmt":"2022-01-21T18:59:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cadimmigration.com\/?p=1295"},"modified":"2022-01-21T14:03:36","modified_gmt":"2022-01-21T19:03:36","slug":"canadas-travel-restrictions-due-to-covid-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cadimmigration.com\/?p=1295","title":{"rendered":"Canada\u2019s travel restrictions due to COVID-19"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important information about your approved temporary resident visa or super visa and Canada\u2019s travel restrictions due to COVID-19<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For temporary resident (visitor) visa or super visa holder,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the evolving epidemiological situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Canada is continuously adjusting its <a href=\"https:\/\/travel.gc.ca\/travel-covid\">border measures<\/a>. <strong>Even if you have a valid temporary resident (visitor) visa or super visa, you may not be able to travel to Canada at this time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most foreign nationals need to qualify as a <a href=\"https:\/\/travel.gc.ca\/travel-covid\/travel-restrictions\/covid-vaccinated-travellers-entering-canada#determine-fully\">fully vaccinated traveller<\/a> to travel to Canada, and are encouraged to <strong>check pre-entry testing and quarantine requirements before travelling<\/strong>. If you do not qualify as a fully vaccinated traveller, you will need to meet the criteria under one of the limited exemptions: <a href=\"https:\/\/travel.gc.ca\/travel-covid\/travel-restrictions\/wizard-start\">Find out if you can enter Canada<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note that <strong>you must provide your mandatory travel information<\/strong> electronically via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/public-health\/services\/diseases\/coronavirus-disease-covid-19\/arrivecan.html?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=ipg-trv-2021&amp;utm_source=cov19-20210820&amp;utm_content=arrivecan-app\">ArriveCAN<\/a> <strong>within 72 hours before arrival<\/strong> to Canada and show the receipt of submission to a Canadian border services officer before you\u2019ll be allowed to enter.
