Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has continued to issue invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency through its Express Entry system, with the second Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)<\/strong> draw of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the latest round of invitations, 455 ITAs<\/strong> were issued to candidates who meet the PNP<\/strong> eligibility criteria. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required for this draw was 802<\/strong>, and candidates needed to have submitted their profiles before 7:39 pm Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)<\/strong> on December 7, 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This draw marks the fourth Express Entry draw of the year, following two Canadian Experience Class (CEC)<\/strong> draws and another PNP<\/strong> draw earlier in January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since July 2024<\/strong>, IRCC has been focusing more heavily on candidates qualifying for the PNP<\/strong>, CEC<\/strong>, and category-based selection draws<\/strong>. This shift aligns with Canada\u2019s 2025 Immigration Levels Plan<\/strong>, which emphasizes admissions for those in specific economic categories<\/strong> to meet the country\u2019s labor market and demographic needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
