This change, effective as of March 25, 2025, eliminates the additional 50 or 200 CRS points that were previously awarded to candidates with job offers, including those supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, candidates with a valid job offer had a substantial advantage in the competitive Express Entry pool, often making them more likely to receive an invitation to apply (ITA) for permanent residence (PR).
