Offer<\/strong> streams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This sudden wave of ITAs follows the recent announcement of Ontario\u2019s <strong>reduced nomination allocation<\/strong> for 2025\u2014<strong>down 50%<\/strong> to just <strong>10,750 slots<\/strong> due to federal immigration cuts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the limited capacity, Ontario conducted <strong>10 targeted draws<\/strong> in one day across three key streams: <strong>Foreign Worker, International Student, and In-Demand Skills.<\/strong> Each draw focused on different candidate profiles aligned with regional labour market needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Foreign Worker Stream \u2013 807 ITAs Issued<\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Three draws were held under this stream, targeting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Candidates in Northern Ontario<\/strong> \u2013 <em>391 ITAs<\/em>, minimum score: 56<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>REDI Pilot communities<\/strong> \u2013 <em>411 ITAs<\/em>, minimum score: 32<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Career development professionals (NOC 41321)<\/strong> \u2013 <em>5 ITAs<\/em>, minimum score: 45<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible candidates needed a job offer in a <strong>TEER 0\u20133 skilled occupation<\/strong> and had to be residing in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">In-Demand Skills Stream \u2013 372 ITAs Issued<\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This stream focused on lower-skilled yet essential roles, such as agriculture, construction, and caregiving:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Northern Ontario<\/strong> \u2013 <em>89 ITAs<\/em>, minimum score: 32<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>REDI Pilot<\/strong> \u2013 <em>69 ITAs<\/em>, minimum score: 23<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Health-related occupations<\/strong> \u2013 <em>214 ITAs<\/em>, minimum score: 34 (e.g. caregivers under NOC 44101)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">International Student Stream \u2013 2,540 ITAs Issued<\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The largest draw volumes were seen under this stream, with four draws targeting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Health occupations<\/strong> \u2013 <em>1,350 ITAs<\/em>, minimum score: 68<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Eastern Ontario<\/strong> \u2013 <em>334 ITAs<\/em>, minimum score: 85<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Northern Ontario<\/strong> \u2013 <em>493 ITAs<\/em>, minimum score: 54<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>REDI Pilot communities<\/strong> \u2013 <em>363 ITAs<\/em>, minimum score: 60<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Health occupations included a wide range of NOC codes, from physicians and nurses to caregivers and physician assistants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To qualify, candidates needed a job offer in a <strong>TEER 0\u20133<\/strong> occupation and a <strong>credential from a Canadian institution<\/strong>. <strong>No work experience<\/strong> is required for this stream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Context: Nomination Cuts Affect Processing Times<\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ontario\u2019s flurry of ITAs comes shortly after confirming a drastic <strong>cut to its PNP nomination limit<\/strong>, down from 21,500 in 2024 to just 10,750 for 2025\u2014a direct result of federal reductions to immigration quotas under the new <strong>2025\u20132027 Immigration Levels Plan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the program now operating under tight constraints, <strong>processing times are expected to increase<\/strong>, and
