Canada\u2019s immigration department, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)<\/strong>, conducted its latest Express Entry draw<\/strong> on June 4<\/strong>, targeting candidates in healthcare and social services occupations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs)<\/strong> were issued to eligible candidates. To qualify for this draw, candidates were required to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 504<\/strong> and must have created their Express Entry profile before 6:47 a.m. (UTC) on March 31, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This marks the second draw of June<\/strong> and the second-ever draw<\/strong> dedicated specifically to healthcare and social services professionals, reflecting Canada\u2019s ongoing commitment to strengthening critical public sectors through immigration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Express Entry Timeline and Application Validity<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

An Express Entry profile remains valid for up to 12 months<\/strong>. If a candidate does not receive an ITA during that time, they can resubmit a new profile<\/strong>\u2014provided they still meet eligibility criteria. However, the profile will then receive a new timestamp<\/strong>, which may affect eligibility under IRCC\u2019s tie-breaking rule<\/strong> used for draw selections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once an ITA is received, applicants have 60 days<\/strong> to submit their complete permanent residence application<\/strong>. The Canadian government aims to process these applications within six months<\/strong> from the date of submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
