These programs are set to play a crucial role in addressing labour shortages while offering new avenues to permanent residence (PR) for qualified foreign workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Pathways to Permanent Residency Now Open in Sudbury<\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Located in Northeastern Ontario, Greater Sudbury is the largest city in Ontario by land area. As part of Canada&#8217;s regional immigration strategy, Sudbury is one of a few communities participating in both the RCIP and FCIP in 2025. The city has been allocated <strong>525 nomination slots under the RCIP<\/strong> and <strong>45 under the FCIP<\/strong>, aimed at addressing its growing workforce needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These pilots are designed to benefit both local employers and skilled international talent. For this application cycle:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Employer Designation Application Deadline:<\/strong> June 12, 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Application Intake Period:<\/strong> June 23 to June 27, 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once approved, foreign nationals may use the recommendation to apply for permanent residency through the federal government. They may also be eligible for a <strong>temporary work permit<\/strong> during the processing period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sudbury is joined by only five other communities in the FCIP pilot and is one of 14 communities participating in the RCIP for 2025.
