The invitation round will roll out over a <strong>two-week period<\/strong>, with a total of <strong>17,860 invitations<\/strong> expected to be sent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The target for 2025 is to approve <strong>10,000 complete sponsorship applications<\/strong> through this program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Who Will Receive Invitations in 2025?<\/mark><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All invitations will be issued <strong>only to individuals who submitted an Interest to Sponsor form in 2020<\/strong>. That means <strong>no new applications<\/strong> for interest to sponsor will be accepted this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The government continues to use a <strong>randomized lottery system<\/strong> to issue invitations from the existing 2020 submission pool, due to <strong>high demand<\/strong> and limited annual quotas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you submitted a form in 2020, keep an eye on your email during the invitation period. Only those who receive an official invitation will be eligible to submit a full application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">What Is the Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP)?<\/mark><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Parents and Grandparents Program<\/strong> is part of Canada&#8217;s <strong>family reunification stream<\/strong>.
