By opening the door to workers in <strong>FEER categories 3, 4, and 5<\/strong>, the province is recognizing the vital role that skilled trades and manual occupations play in filling labour shortages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Eligibility requirements for this draw included:<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A <strong>minimum score of 661 points<\/strong> in the Arrima system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Residence <strong>outside the Montreal Metropolitan Community<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least <strong>24 months of work experience in the past five years<\/strong>, including <strong>12 months in Quebec<\/strong> in the candidate\u2019s main occupation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates were selected from the <strong>Arrima expression of interest pool<\/strong> on <strong>July 28, 2025<\/strong>, at 8:00 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Intermediate and Manual Skills stream<\/strong> is designed for foreign nationals in trades and practical jobs who meet language and education standards. Applicants must demonstrate at least <strong>French level 5 proficiency<\/strong> in speaking and listening (and level 4 for spouses). In addition, they need a <strong>recognized diploma<\/strong> equivalent to Quebec\u2019s high school or vocational education credentials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the <strong>third PSTQ draw since its launch in July 2025<\/strong>.
