Compared to the same period in 2024:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>International student arrivals fell by <strong>70%<\/strong>, representing <strong>88,617 fewer students<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foreign worker arrivals declined by <strong>50%<\/strong>, or <strong>125,903 fewer workers<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Altogether, Canada welcomed <strong>214,520 fewer temporary residents<\/strong> (students and workers combined) between January and June 2025.
