With this new enhancement, users can now check <strong>personalized estimates<\/strong> based on their <strong>actual submission date<\/strong> and <strong>position in the queue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">What Has Changed<\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The revamped IRCC tool now allows users to see:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Personalized processing times<\/strong> tailored to their own application date;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The number of people ahead of them<\/strong> in the processing queue; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The total number of applications<\/strong> currently being reviewed in the same category.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This update marks a significant step toward <strong>greater transparency<\/strong> in Canada\u2019s immigration system, giving both new and existing applicants more clarity about their timelines and expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">How the New Tool Works<\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The tool now includes two key questions that applicants must answer to get a customized result:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Have you already applied?<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Choose \u201cYes\u201d if your application has been submitted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose \u201cNo\u201d if you are still planning to apply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>When did you apply?<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enter the exact date or month of your application submission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on these answers, the system instantly generates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An <strong>estimated time remaining<\/strong> until a final decision;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>number of applicants ahead<\/strong> of you; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A comparison showing <strong>how long new applicants<\/strong> might expect to wait if applying now.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Example: For Existing Applicants<\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Imagine Sally, who applied under the <strong>Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)<\/strong> in May 2025. When she checks her status in October 2025, the system shows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Estimated time left: <strong>26 months<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>People ahead: <strong>Approximately 9,500<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Total waiting: <strong>Around 13,100<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current processing time for new applicants: <strong>37 months<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This gives her a realistic expectation of how long she may still need to wait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Example: For Future Applicants<\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sally\u2019s friend, Rachel, hasn\u2019t yet applied but wants to see what to expect.
