Alberta Opportunity Stream \u2013 November 10<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This round marked Alberta\u2019s second-largest draw of the year, with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>1,045 invitations issued<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Minimum selection score: 55<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Alberta Opportunity Stream (AOS) supports temporary foreign workers who are already contributing to Alberta\u2019s labour market. The province operates several dedicated sub-streams targeting fields including technology, aviation, construction, agriculture, law enforcement, and healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Alberta Receives Major Increase in 2025 Nomination Allocation<\/mark><\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2025, Alberta secured a significant increase in its annual nomination quota from the federal government. The province\u2019s cap rose by <strong>1,728<\/strong> spots\u2014from <strong>4,875<\/strong> to a new total of <strong>6,603<\/strong> nominations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This restored roughly <strong>67%<\/strong> of Alberta\u2019s previous 2024 allocation of 9,750 spots, following the nationwide reductions introduced last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, provincial authorities confirmed that this expanded allocation will <strong>not<\/strong> carry over into 2026.
