{"id":790,"date":"2020-11-16T10:51:51","date_gmt":"2020-11-16T15:51:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cadimmigration.com\/?p=790"},"modified":"2020-12-08T15:12:32","modified_gmt":"2020-12-08T20:12:32","slug":"ontario-invited-443-express-entry-candidates-in-new-pnp-draw-on-12th-november","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cadimmigration.com\/?p=790","title":{"rendered":"What was Ontario&#8217;s new PNP draw on 12th November like?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Ontario invited 443 Express Entry candidates in new PNP draw on 12<sup>th<\/sup> November<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All the Invited Express Entry candidates had work experience in nine targeted occupations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Express Entry candidates now have the chance to apply for a provincial nomination from Ontario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/ontario-provincial-nominee-program.html\">Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program<\/a>&nbsp;(OINP) had issued 443 invitations to candidates in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/express-entry.html\">Express Entry system<\/a> on 12<sup>th<\/sup> November. Candidates needed&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/express-entry-comprehensive-ranking-system.html\">CRS<\/a>&nbsp;scores between 469 and 477.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They also were required to have work experience in one of&nbsp; the following nine occupations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Financial managers (NOC 0111);<\/li><li>Advertising, marketing and public relations managers (NOC 0124);<\/li><li>Corporate sales managers (NOC 0601);<\/li><li>Financial auditors and accountants (NOC 1111);<\/li><li>Other financial officers (NOC 1114);<\/li><li>Professional occupations in business management consulting (NOC 122);<\/li><li>Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses (NOC 3012);<\/li><li>Allied primary health practitioners (NOC 3124); or<\/li><li>Dieticians and nutritionists (NOC 3132)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates were invited by Ontario because they may be eligible for the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/ontario-express-entry-human-capital-priorities-stream.html\">Ontario Express Entry: Human Capital Priorities Stream<\/a>. If invited they successfully receive the provincial nomination, they will be awarded an additional 600 CRS points, and be guaranteed to receive an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/express-entry-invitation-to-apply-for-permanent-residence.html\">Invitation to Apply<\/a>&nbsp;for Canadian permanent residence in a subsequent Express Entry draw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those who were invited in the November 12 draw now have 45 calendar days to apply for the provincial nomination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Ontario\u2019s Human Capital Priorities Stream<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This enhanced&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/provincial-nomination-program.html\">Provincial Nominee Program<\/a>&nbsp;(PNP) allows the OINP to nominate candidates from the Express Entry pool for permanent immigration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible under the Human Capital Priorities Stream, candidates need to meet the eligibility requirements for one of Canada\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/canada-skilled-worker-immigration.html\">Federal High Skilled<\/a>&nbsp;programs, which could be either the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/federal-skilled-worker-program-fswp.html\">Federal Skilled Worker Program<\/a>, or the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/canadian-experience-class.html\">Canadian Experience Class<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates do not need a job offer in Canada, but they need to meet certain work experience eligibility criteria. Namely, they need at least one year of paid, full-time work experience, or the part-time equivalent, completed within the past five years. This can be international work experience, or Canadian work experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Express Entry system<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Express Entry is an application management system for three federal immigration programs: the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/federal-skilled-worker-program-fswp.html\">Federal Skilled Worker Program<\/a>, the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/canada-federal-skilled-trades-program-fstc.html\">Federal Skilled Trades Program<\/a>, and the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/canadian-experience-class.html\">Canadian Experience Class<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible candidates are ranked on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/express-entry-comprehensive-ranking-system.html\">Comprehensive Ranking System<\/a>&nbsp;(CRS) based on human capital factors like age, work experience, education, and language ability in English or French. Getting a provincial nomination is an automatic 600 CRS points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The highest-scoring candidates are issued&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/express-entry-invitation-to-apply-for-permanent-residence.html\">Invitations to Apply<\/a>&nbsp;(ITAs) for permanent residence through bi-weekly draws.
