Ontario will now open for the Employer Job Offer Streams in 2020

As the Employer Job Offer Foreign Worker and International Student streams have addressed a notable hike in the applications for 2019 and thus, Ontario offers a specific amount of nomination allocation from the Federal Government thereby, the province has met its number of application for the specific stream for the current year as per the given statement. Thus, the Ontario Immigration has declared the closing out of the Employer Job Offer, as the OINP (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program) was opened on August 27, 2019 and was closed on September 23, 2019 as the province stated. Further stating, that the OINP will time out for the remaining 2019.

Thereby, stating that, “The Employer Job Offer Foreign Worker and International Student Streams will re-open in 2020 to accept applications for the new nomination year.”

According to the Employer Job Offer, In- Demand Skills Stream remains open to the candidates.

Eligibility Criteria In order to qualify under the Foreign Worker Stream, the candidate must have:

  • A full- time or a permanent job offer letter which should hold the position under National Occupational Classification (NOC) O, A or B in order to meet the level of wage of Ontario, and for those who are already working in this position the propound wage should be equal or greater than the current wage that is being paid.
  • Two years of relevant work experience
  • Relevant licensing if the position requires
  • Visiting Canada on a relevant permit, like, visiting, working, studying or living
  • One must have the intention to settle in Canada.

Under this stream the businesses are also required to fulfill some requirements:

  • They must hold a premise in Ontario
  • Should be active in business for the past three years
  • The policies should align with all the health, employment and safety legislation.
  • If located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) at least a minimum gross annual revenue of $ 1,000,000 should be there and it should hold at least five- full time employees who are either permanent residents or Canadian citizens.
  • If located outside of GTA at least a minimum gross annual revenue of $ 500,000 and should have at least three full- time employees who are either permanent resident or Canadian Citizens.

    Please what are the steps for the work permit and permanent residence ? i want to start working on this Immigration to Canada though i am still making inquiries too.
