
Canada Issues 511 Invitations in PNP-Specific Express Entry Draw
On May 12, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held its latest Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)–focused Express Entry draw, inviting 511 candidates to apply for permanent residence.
To be eligible for this round, applicants needed:
- A minimum CRS score of 706
- An Express Entry profile submitted before 10:35 p.m. UTC on March 4, 2025
Express Entry Trends in 2025: Focus on PNP and Priority Occupations
This was the third draw in May, following two occupation-specific invitations:
- May 2: Healthcare & Social Services – 500 ITAs, CRS 510
- May 1: Education sector – 1,000 ITAs, CRS 479
So far in 2025, IRCC has extended 33,940 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through a mix of PNP-specific, Canadian Experience Class, and category-based draws prioritizing skills in high-demand fields like education, healthcare, and French language proficiency.
