Patterns & Takeaways

  • June has seen six Express Entry draws, with three targeting CEC.
  • Critics see a shift toward more frequent and larger CEC draws, as earlier in the year CEC rounds were rare and smaller.
  • Between February and early June, IRCC prioritized PNP and category-based draws, but is now returning to inviting in-Canada skilled workers more often.

It’s still too early to confirm whether this signals a lasting change—but for now, CEC candidates should stay alert.
