Initially, Alberta was allocated 4,875 nomination slots for 2025. However, the federal government granted an additional 1,528 nominations, increasing the total to 6,403.
As of October 21, 2025, the province has issued 4,689 nominations, leaving 1,714 spaces still available for qualified candidates.
