
Newfoundland and Labrador Invites Over 350 Skilled Workers Through PNP and AIP Pathways
Newfoundland and Labrador continues to welcome skilled foreign nationals through its tailored immigration programs to meet the province’s growing labor demands. On July 10, the Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism (OIM) issued a total of 359 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) under two major immigration pathways:
- 300 invitations under the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP)
- 59 invitations under the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)
These invitations allow selected candidates to apply for provincial nomination and pursue permanent residence in Canada through the province’s immigration channels.
Who Was Eligible in the July 10 Draw?
To be considered in this draw, candidates were required to:
- Have a valid job or job offer in Newfoundland and Labrador
- Hold an Employer Invitation Code (for AIP or NLPNP candidates requiring a job vacancy assessment)
- Possess valid work authorization in Canada (if applying without an employer code)
Applicants with Expressions of Interest (EOIs) that lacked job offers or valid codes were not considered.

- Biomedical Engineers
- UI/UX & .NET Developers
- Python Developers

- Computer Network Support Technicians

- Captains (FM4 certified)
