Northern Ontario community is the eleventh Canadian municipality who launched RNIP. Also, Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) started on October 21st 2020 and North Bay, Ontario is the eleventh Canadian community who started the RNIP program. There are twelve communities who are participating in this pilot program.
The only community that has not started this program is Saskatchewan.
RNIP is a new initiative of IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) in which they will partner with the people outside Canada’s main population in order to attract immigrants who will contribute to the community.
The requirements that are applicable to everyone immigrating under this stream are as follows:
Minimum one year experience in the last three years except for the international graduates and students;
English or French Proficiency
Education level- minimum a high school diploma
The funds and resources proof to support their and the family’s living
A permanent and a full-time job offer in the community.
The Job Offer must be of the same skill level as given in the NOC (National Occupational Classification) and matches the applicants experience.
But the question arises, how will a person get a community recommendation from the North Bay, and then eventually will be able to get them the Permanent Residency.
The answer is:
Strong knowledge on Canada’s official language(s)
Experience of living in Northern and rural communities
Friend’s or family ties or with someone already living in the North Bay
Further benefit to a person already living in North Bay
Working in an occupation in0deman in North Bay

North Bay is a place with a population of 50,000 people. It is three hours away from the North of Toronto by road. It has a growing and a diversified economy with booming tourism, mining sectors and a strong health industry.
