The Government Of Canada Is Aiming To Admit A More Than A Million New Permanent Residents By The End Of 2021 And Thereby, The Past Quarter Has Been A Productive Quarter. The Express Entry Is Canada’s One Of The Most Popular Immigration Selection System And Therefore Is The Country’s Largest Driver Of Economic Immigrants.
Hence, A Total Of 21,600 Express Entry Candidates Were Made To Invite In The Past Three Months, Hence, Making The Period From July 1 To September 30 The Most Busiest Three Months Of The Year So Far. There Were 21,200 Invitations To Apply (ITAs) For Canadian Permanent Residence Sent Out In The First Quarter And The Other 20,600 In The Second Quarter.

Express Entry Candidates With An Invitation To Apply (ITA) Receive The Expedited Processing. The Applications For The Canadian Permanent Residence Can Be Processed In Six Months.
ITAs Are Issued To Set Several The Highest- Ranked Candidates In The Express Entry Pool Through Regular Draws, Which Are Generally Held Every Two Weeks. The Canada’s Provinces And Territories Can Also Select The Express Entry Candidates To Apply For The Provincial Nomination. Thus, After Being Nominated By A Province, A Candidate Obtains An Additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Score And Are Prioritized For An ITA For The Permanent Residence.
Draw Sizes Increase
The Immigration, Refugees And Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Kicked Off The Third Quarter Of 2019 By Raising The Number Of ITAs Issued Per Draw, From 3,350 To 3,600 In July 10 Invitation Round. This Approach Of The Incremental Changes To The Size Of The Draws Conducted Through The Express Entry Every Few Months Was Introduced By IRCC Last Year And Has Continued This Year. Therefore, All The Six Invitation Rounds That Were Held Between July And The End Of September Issued 3,600 Invitation To Apply Each. The Third -Quarter Total Of 21,600 Brought The Number Of ITAs Issued So Far This Year To 63,400.
