What do you need to know about the newly implemented NOC 2021 change?
IRCC switched to the NOC 2021 system today, where the NOC skill type 0, A, or B will shift to the TEER system. The major 2 impacts of the implementation of NOC 2021 change are:
- 16 new occupations will be included in the Express Entry system which will include Transport Truck Drivers and Heavy Equipment Operators.
- Candidates will not be eligible to receive an ITA until the profiles are updated with NOC 2021 code. If a candidate has received an ITA before November 16, 2022, they must submit their application for permanent residence using NOC 2016.
