Minister Of Border Security And Organized Crime Reduction, Mr Bill Blair, Spoke To Members Of Congress And Government Officials About The Issues Of Border Security Which Includes The Modernizing The Safe Third Country Agreement (STCA). While Mr. Blair Was In New York City He Met With Senior Officials And Representatives To Discuss How To Collaborate And Diffuse Irregular Migration. The Minister Also Visited The John F. Kennedy International Airport And Met With U.S Customs And Border Protection Officials. This Airport Is One Of The Airports Where Many Irregular Asylum Claimants Land Before Travelling To Canada. The Minister Mentioned That Canada And US Work Together In Addressing The Challenges Of Irregular Migration Through Information Sharing An Technological Opportunities. This Trip Allowed Mr. Blair To Discuss STCA Modernization So Both Countries Can Benefit. Mr. Blair Suggested Collaborating With U.S Partners Has And Will Always Be Crucial As Our Shared Border Allows Us To Work Together On Issues Such As Irregular Migration.
