Alberta has invited the Express Entry candidates with the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of as low as 302 so far for the month of September. Thereby, the details of the draws held on September 11 and September 18 were made public by the Alberta Express Entry Stream.
The Alberta Express Entry Stream gives access to the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) to search the Express Entry System for the federal candidates who depict strong ties to the Alberta or are in a profession that supports the province’s economic development and diversification priorities. The province doesn’t require the candidates to have a job offer letter in Alberta, but the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program says that having one may accelerate the likelihood of getting an invite by the province.
The short listed or the selected candidates are issued a NOI or Notification of Interest from the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) and are invited to apply for the provincial nomination for Canadian Permanent Residence.
The provincial nomination results in an additional 600 points towards an Express Entry candidate’s Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, thereby, assuring an invite for the Canadian Permanent Residence in an Express Entry Invitation round.
Therefore, to illustrate Alberta invited 339 candidates to apply with the score of 302 and above. Another draw held on September 18 issued 139 NOIs with the Comprehensive Ranking System score of as low as 350 for the Express Entry.
Hence, the Alberta Express Entry is a well-liked option because it selects Express Entry Candidates with the Comprehensive Ranking System score that are usually below the federal cut-off score. Additionally, the lowest Alberta draws this year invited the candidates with the score of as low as 300, whereas, the lowest all- program federal Express Entry draw this year required candidates to have scores of 438 and up.
So far, in 2019, the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program has issued 4,378 nomination certificates.
